Our built environment tells an impossibly long story of creation and construction, stretching back to the very origins of the universe, if we listen deeply. This architectural practice, founded in florence in 2016 by robert kane, tries to find the best way to shape our place and moment on the timeline, when given the chance. The works pictured include numerous projects around tuscany; each one is a dialog with history and its traces, with the locally available raw materials, the setting, the skills of the workers, the client’s needs, and the designer’s ability to create order and grace out of the chaos and complexity of building.
